Telenet title partner of Superprestige for tenth year in a row

Telenet and Flanders Classics extend their partnership by three years. This means that this coming winter, Telenet will be at the start of the Telenet Superprestige, the oldest regularity criterion in cyclo-cross, as title partner for the tenth year in a row. To celebrate that anniversary, the telecom operator is launching a festive action: the Yellow Corner, which should add extra atmosphere along the course.

After nine years of working together, Telenet and Flanders Classics today confirm their commitment for the next three seasons. With the first round of the Telenet Superprestige this coming Sunday in Overijse, Telenet begins its tenth season as title partner of the oldest regularity criterion in cyclo-cross.

Dieter Nieuwdorp, Chief Commercial Officer Residential & Soho: “Through a strong partnership with Flanders Classics, we have been supporting cyclo-cross in Flanders for ten years. We are therefore proud to extend this collaboration for another three years and further broaden our commitment across the Telenet Superprestige, the Belgian UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup races and the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Ostend. In the years ahead, we are pleased to continue supporting a sport that means so much to Flanders for riders and fans.”

Tomas Van Den Spiegel, CEO of organiser Flanders Classics: “An extension of a long-standing partnership is something you can be proud of. Ten years is a long time, and it is special to be able to celebrate such an anniversary. We are therefore very much looking forward to further cooperation. Moreover, we are joining forces again during the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup, and Telenet will also be present as a partner at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Ostend. In short, we are building on the strong foundation we laid within the Telenet Superprestige over the past nine years.”

The first of eight rounds is scheduled for Sunday in Overijse. The race for Special Olympics athletes is also once again part of the programme. During the autumn holidays, Middelkerke is preparing for the first edition as an evening cross. Ruddervoorde gets a new date in December and Heusden-Zolder is on the calendar on Christmas Day for the first time.

Yellow Corner

This winter, Telenet is introducing the Yellow Corner in cyclo-cross. A DJ and a great atmosphere await in the party bend. The Yellow Corner will be present at the Telenet Superprestige rounds in Ruddervoorde, Diegem and Gullegem; the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup rounds in Antwerpen and Gavere; and the 2027 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Ostend. More information about the concept will be shared via the Telenet Superprestige social media channels.

We are also celebrating ten years as title partner with a new corporate identity:
