Telenet launches the Connected Cup

This season, the riders in the Telenet Superprestige are competing not only for stage victories, but also for the Telenet Connected Cup for overall winners: a glass trophy filled with real soil from the 8 courses and equipped with a digital tag full of memories.
Just like last year, loyal partner Telenet will provide extra experiences at every podium moment. The popular Telenet podium selfie, riders throwing cycling jerseys into the crowd, and handing out fun goodies for the fans will once again be part of the programme.
In addition, several new elements are being introduced this season. The medals for the race winners and the trophies for the overall winners have been upgraded. They are now made of glass and filled with real soil from the different courses. While last year that soil was transformed into ceramic, this year it remains visible, a tangible tribute to the mud that makes cyclo-cross such a unique sport.
Additionally, at the end of the season, the overall winners can relive their personal highlights through an integrated digital tag on the trophy. They gain access to exclusive content and can experience the emotions of their victory again. Winning has never been so tangible and digital at the same time.
In short, this season the Telenet Superprestige is not only about winning, but also about honoring the winners properly, with a unique trophy as the highlight.
