On Saturday 15 November, the cyclocross peloton arrived in Merksplas for a new edition of the Aardbeiencross. We saw two Dutch riders celebrating there. Lucinda Brand left her competitors behind halfway through the race, while Joris Nieuwenhuis, after an opening phase full of bad luck, still rode to victory.
